18th Claude Jacquillat Award
For Clinical Cancer Research
This award is named after the late professor Claude Jacquillat, the founder of the department of Medical Oncology of the Pitie Salpetriere Hospital (SOMPS) and an internationally recognized cancer researcher who made major contributions to new drug development, the management of acute leukemia and breast cancer. A dynamic investigator, a prolific writer and a compelling leader, he excelled in all his chosen areas of interest.
Winners of this award are recognized for outstanding contributions to cancer patient care.

This award will be given to Margaret A. TEMPERO during the 21st International Congress on Anticancer Treatment to be held on February 1-5, 2010 during the Presidential Session (February 3rd, afternoon).
17th Raymond Bourgine Award
For achievement in Cancer Research
This award is given yearly to individuals with exceptional contributions to oncology. It is named for Raymond Bourgine, a well-known French journalist, author and former elected Paris official who died of cancer in 1990. He was an enthusiastic supporter of cancer research and his family and friends created this award to recognize exceptional scientific achievements. Previous awardees have included Drs Isaiah Fidler, Kenneth Culver, Richard Peto, John Mendelsohn, Richard Klausner, Carlo Croce, Margareth Kripke, David Beach, Lee Hartwell, Pierre Potier, Robert A. Weinberg, Harald Zur Hauzen, Maurice Tubiana, Waun Ki Hong and Nagahiro Saijo.
This award will be given to Pierre CHAMBON during the 21st International Congress on Anticancer Treatment to be held on February 1-5, 2010 in Paris during the Presidential Session (February 3rd, afternoon).
